Sarah - owner, stylist
Growing up with a love of beautifying, Sarah started cutting her barbie’s hair and graduated to real people at the age of 12. Licensed at 19, with lots of experience already behind her, Sarah has made her love of people and hair mesh into a passion for this industry. She has spent her 18+ years of hair in Phoenix and Duluth perfecting her craft and clientele, and purchased CROWNED in the fall of 2019. Sarah loves to do blendy, lived-in, dimensional colors and loves to help with the transition to “natural highlights” (wisdom lights, unicorn silver, gray hair, whatever you want to call it). Sarah is also exploring and enjoying the art of teaching younger stylists, sharing her experiences and spreading the joy for this craft. In her spare time Sarah helps lead a local youth group with her husband, spends lots of time at the lake with her three little girls, and is slowly learning how to garden with her dozens of chickens following her around the yard.

Melanie - stylist
Mel is a fresh face to the hair industry, but a familiar face to cloquet- a carlton graduate, she spent her cosmetology school days in superior, and is ready to be local. She is loving COLOR! Healthy blonde balayages, melty brunettes, and pinterest worthy dimension. A natural talent being honed with technique and current trends. Mel loves to explore and travel around our region, and spend time with her family & friends.

Dani - Stylist
Born and raised right here in cloquet, Dani has dreamed of being a stylist from a young age. She graduated from Northwood Technical College in December 2023 and has been working ever since! Dani specializes in men’s cuts and blonding and can give you the dimension of your dreams - she also loves working with kids. When she’s not working, Dani enjoys quiet time at home with her boyfriend Chase and her Great Dane, either whipping something up in the kitchen or planning her next travel adventure.

Mandy - stylist
Mandy has been in the hair industry since 2017, and in the cosmetic industry since 2014. She grew up applying makeup to any person she could find, and loves to make a person’s natural beauty shine through. This applies to her love of hair as well, as she loves to help people find a look that compliments skin tone and eye color. She loves doing dimensional brunettes, lived in blondes, and vibrant reds. She is also a master of fine hair, being thats what she has herself. Mandy loves to travel and experience the world with her husband and two boys.
